Who we are
Barnraiser is a website design and management service operated by Harings Media & Technology LLC, a Wisconsin company ("Barnraiser," "we," "us"). This policy covers barnraiserwi.com and the websites we build and host for our clients where this policy is linked.
What we collect
Only what you give us and the little that websites collect by working:
- Contact form submissions. If you fill out our form, we get what you typed: typically your name, business name, phone number, email, and your message.
- Email, calls, and texts. If you contact us directly, we keep the correspondence like any business would.
- Basic usage data. If analytics are enabled, we see anonymous counts — how many people visited, which pages, roughly where from. Not who you are.
We don't collect payment card numbers on this site. If you become a client, payments are handled by Stripe, and your card details go to Stripe directly — we never see or store them. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to that.
Why we collect it
- To answer you when you contact us.
- To build and manage your website, if you become a client.
- To understand whether the site works (analytics), so we can make it better.
That's the whole list. We don't sell your information. We don't rent it. We don't trade it. We don't send you a newsletter you didn't ask for.
Who else touches it
A few service providers handle data on our behalf, the same way most websites work:
- Formspree delivers contact form submissions to our email.
- Cloudflare hosts our sites and provides security. Like any host, its servers see standard connection logs (IP addresses, pages requested).
- Google Analytics, where enabled, provides the anonymous usage counts described above.
- Stripe processes client payments.
Each of these has its own privacy policy. We don't give your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies
This site works without tracking cookies. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics sets its standard cookies to count visits; you can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work fine.
How long we keep it
Form submissions and correspondence: as long as we might reasonably need them to work together, then they get deleted. If you never become a client, your inquiry doesn't live forever in a database — it's an email in an inbox, and it gets cleaned out like one.
Your choices
- Want to know what we have about you? Ask.
- Want it corrected or deleted? Ask, and we'll do it unless the law says we have to keep something.
- Don't want to hear from us again? Say so once and that's the end of it.

Children
Our sites are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a new date below. We won't quietly change what we do with your information.
